Since I last posted, Voyer has made some significant changes. It has settled down from rapid weekly updates to more substantial monthly ones which will continue to come as Voyer is under active development.
So; Over the last two months on top of bug fixes I’ve added:
Major:
- Post Replies.
- Download All for thread.
- Favourite Threads.
- Auto play and auto stop WEBM.
- Low-bandwidth/Resource mode: (found in Settings) which uses thumbnails until opened in main view rather than high-res or animated images.
Minor:
- Improved local caching of WEBM.
- Improved pinch-or-click-to-zoom.
- Visibility of modified dates and post numbers.
- Improved “thinking” feedback.
- Support for light and dark themes.
- Various memory consumption and speed improvements.
- Significant app size reduction due to optimisation.
Next in my sights is improving the comments text so that external URL’s become clickable and open in your default browser, and bringing all these updates to the Xbox version which is slightly behind the PC/Tablet/Mobile version.
Posting and low-bandwidth are both brand new so feedback on those is particularly useful to shape future development.
Note: The best place for requests and issues is using the Feedback link in Voyer itself.
